Video game addiction is a disorder which happens due to the problematic, compulsive use of video games. It can impact a person’s life psychologically and also can have a major impact in the brain development and can lead to serious brain damage. They may show reduced dopamine response to stimuli associated with their addiction.

HYPOTHESIS

Playing video games even for 30 minutes will immediately lower activity in the prefrontal regions of the brain which also increases activity in brain regions associated with arousal, anxiety and emotional reaction while simultaneously reduces activity in frontal lobes associated with emotional regulation and executive control. So playing excessively would influence brain issues and that’s what need to be reduced.

TESTING METHOD

Most of the research shows that playing more than a hour would lead to the development of metabolic syndrome in brain and tendinitis while comparing to the players who play 5–10 minutes per day. The study shows three instances of moderation of this relationship by online friendship quality [for loneliness] and real- life friendship quality [for social anxiety and loneliness].for those with high quality friendships, the relationship between game addiction increased and psychological health was found to be decreased .
